Here is a beautiful example of a Lesghian Caucasian Rug hand-knotted in Lesghi territory of south-western Caucasus around 1870-1880. The vegetable dyes used to color the fibers are still incredibly rich even after 150 years and make the 3 ‘Lesghi stars’ in the center really stand out.
